(The idea of being a children's bookstore; It was on my mind for a long time. My love and interest in the book has been there since my childhood. As you read children's books when you become a mother; Books took the place of toys. Our biggest pastime was reading a book with my daughter. With my second child, I said why shouldn't this hobby be my job?
During the pandemic, I participated in many children's book writing workshops and book reading activities.
I wanted to share what I learned with children and adults. An opportunity arose and I immediately took advantage of it. My husband Engin was my biggest supporter when I started this business.)

Mi familia y mi entorno me llaman "Buki".

(The name of the store was my grandfather's way of calling me since I was a child. My family and close circle call me “buki”. It's actually like a nickname. Over the years, when this nickname combined with my love for books, “booky” emerged.)

2. En la librería; Hay libros de muchas editoriales turcas, como Abm Publications, Hep Books, Pattern Publications, Yapı Kredi Publications, Redhouse Kidz, Pomegranate Publications, Meav Publications, Final Publishing House, Nesin Publications. Foreign Books ; we have books from many foreign publishers such as Walker Books, Redfox, Ladybird, Puffin, Redfox, Scholastic, Usborne, Nosy Crow, Alison Green. Hice una amplia selección de libros.

De los libros turcos  "The Most beautiful country in the world", "Three cats", One Wish, Have you seen my spotted mouse?, por supuesto hay tantos libros buenos que pueden encontrar en mi pàgina.

(From the Turkish books The Most Beautiful Country in the World, Three Cats, One Wish, Have You Seen My Spotted Mouse? , from the foreign book, the journey, feelings and the very hungry caterpillar may be what I would suggest. Of course, there are so many good books that they can look at my page for them.)

( There are bookstores like me. But I tried to do something a little different. I have tried to create an unlimited space for children only, where they can feel good and belong, and where they can dream and build fairy tales. This is a bookstore that will be shaped according to their wishes, suggestions and expectations. I hope our days at the bookstore will be spent with pleasure and lots of reading.)

(Authors, illustrators, publishers and pedagogues are among my plans. If there are activities suggested by the author or the illustrator in a small one-on-one group, an interactive space can be created with the children.
The book actually starts with the cover. We immediately open it and start reading. Actually, I believe it is necessary to emphasize how this book reaches us.)

(While I was on this road, I could make even a child love to read, explain how important the bond he established with the book is, and I aimed to show how fun this journey can be. A child changes, the world changes.
With the suggestion of my dear friend Çağla Acar, ' imagination is more important than knowledge ' on the wall of the bookstore. we wrote. A. Einstein / Perhaps a single sentence was a collective response.)
